Extortion and blacmail, is the COngress or the Mafia? Not much difference is there?
Presenting HR 140, A bill desinged to blackmail and extort the states in to accepting certain requirements in issuing a driver’s license or identification card, and for other purposes. In other words, use REAL ID or we cut your money off in a hard economic times.
Ok, most here know the work I do fighting for states rights and assuring the survival of the 10th amendment and this is a direct attack on that. The federal government now wants to strongarm the states in to complying with laws and bowing to power the feds were nevr suposed to have under the constitution.
You know the drill, call your congressional reps, scream and hollar about this and see it dies the propper death it deserves in committee. It is still in committee right now but already has 4 co-sponsors.

AAAAUGH. Real ID just won't die!
May came and went, and the states went, "Pfft, forget that!"
So now, they're trying -- in a totally lame way, btw, because the states don't really HAVE any money to try to obey anyway -- to blakmail them.
Sheezus in the sticks...
Aaaaugh.
I'm gonna see what else I can dig up and put out the alert on my blog.
