I don't know but i can't seem to taste the flavor of cheese on cheesecake, if there's any. Do cheesecake really contain cheese?

Cheesecake contains cream cheese, which (like it's name) is creamy and very mild tasting. It is not an aged, stronger cheese such as cheddar. It's closer in flavor to a cottage or ricotta cheese.

Everyone already answered your question but I just had to stop in and say that I LOVE CHEESECAKE! It's so yummy! I make a delicious low carb cheesecake that is to die for with a sugar free strawberry topping. Now I want some!

The right answer has allready been giving a couple of times, but man do you have me craving for cheesecake right now! And all the shops are closed so I'll just have to contain myself. Yum, strawberry cheesecake is my favourite. I never use yoghurt though, the few times I do eat it I like my cheesecake in it's own fatty way .

yes, cheesecake is made of cheese of course. haha depends who made it and how much cheese they add in the cake that will make nice cheesy smell. i found that russian cheese cake taste a lot more cheesy than malaysian cheese cake also, if you buy homemade or selfmade cheesecake they taste better than the factories one.. happy mylotting!!

yes there is cheese in a cheese cake, it is cream cheese, and some people would add yoghurt to make it lighter and less fattening.

Ah that's why. So there's really no strong salty taste of cheese.

It has cream cheese. Nothing like cheddar or anything like that, lol. I know it's kind of odd that they name it cheese cake, when it has cream cheese, and not regular cheese.

Only creme cheese you dont actually put real cheese in it as it would become more pie then cake then lol

But the salty factor is still there right? If sweet then it's more cream sugar lol!
