Do you believe that love is sweeter the second time around?

Being with someone you love is indeed the most rewarding thing anyone could ever imagine but sometimes one has to learn how to let go in order for them to grow and for them to realize the true value of each other. For them to realize that true love really exists and is worth to give it another chance to catch up to what have been lost. As they say, "Love is sweeter the second time around". Love is when you feel that everything is so wrong but still you find reasons to make each other stay and hold on. To give each other a chance to understand what love is all about.
-Within you I lose myself, without you I find myself wanting to be lost again. Indeed its all about how true love hopes for, waits for and needs one more chance. Be inspired. Love and be loved. Never fight the feeling called "love".

i know that, i dumped my ex boy friend and since then only i realized how good he was. But i do not have desire to want him back. it is a mixed feeling, i missed him sometimes but i do not have much desire to want him back. i think after a break up it make one to value someone when they are not there and realzie you want him/her back or not. that simple. :)

you know its really normal to get that feeling. well, maybe you just missed the girl you were when you were with him, don't you think so? Its good that you really believe in love and good luck to whatever decisions you make in the future and hopefully you'll find the other half of your heart :]

Yes!!! Definitely!!!
Although I have never tried being in love...hahaha
well, that's what I see in most relationships...You see if two lovers broke up and in time they would be together again...They would try not to lose each other again because through their break up, they would realize how important that person is...
That's all I can say...

Yes but it depends.. if the break up wasn't good then probably there's no chance for ex lovers to be together again..

I just want to love everyone and have a grand old time doing it.
Love the second time around is definately very rewarding but then there is nothing as sweet as a first love and the memories that are involved with this.
The second time you have a chance of comparing what the other relationship was like and then you have a choice as to whether you want the same kind of relationship as the first.
Usually it is more exciting to have a change.
Spice up your life with a new relationship!

it depends on the angle you are looking from.Take for instance: I've been dating this girl i luv so much. She is a virgin when we met and i am keep are thus since two years now.Altho its is not that we don't quarell some times infact alot of times. But we settle it.It seems i love her more than she loves me cos she is the one that hurts me most of the time. Now tell me.Will there be any secund chance if we break up and she get sexed else where? If there is, will it be sweeter that the first?I STRONGLY DOUBT

I do not think of love as the best thing in the world or something that rewarding.
I find the positive efforts of my hard work, and the successful outcome FAR more rewarding than love. Something earned with hard work is far more beneficial and rewarding than something born out of a feeling.

Well, sticking to your topic, I believe love is sweeter the second time around because at least the two persons involve in the relationship are now learning lessons from both their experiences. It would be much sweeter if they use such knowledge to flourish what's left between them and refrain from dwelling in the past.

I heard this many times already and I believe it's true. Well I never had second chance relationships w/ my ex but I believe that when people are truly in loved w/ each other there is no reason that they won't be making it for the second time. One thing that make it sweeter the second time is that both parties learned from their mistakes and would probably more aware about it in the next time so they already know what to do.

if someone dumped me, then the chances of a sweet second time around is impossible but if i were the one who gave up on a woman then, i will make the necessary effort to get back what we have started.
i think that love the second time around is indeed sweet,or should i say sweeter, though i have never been into that kind of situation. i wish that someday i will experience that cause somehow i am longing for my past relationship and in one particular woman.

For me love the second time around has been sweeter. Partially because of the wonderful woman I married but also because of the changes that have occured in me. Being mature now I do appreciate life and love more than when I was in my twenties.

I have never been in a relationship before so I do not know what your are talking about this thing called love. Why must have a true in front of the word love? Are you telling me there is also false/fake/scam(however you name it)love? I look down at the mortal world and ask myself- Oh, sweet heaven, what is love?

As based on my experience, Yes because we valued our love more than before. We dont take some petty quarrels into big anymore because we really understand and we value each other more.

well my answer is NO and this is why....why the second have to be sweeter than the first time??? What make the sencond any better????? A person can only give so much forgiveness throughout her or his lifetime...that seconds chances r hard 2 earn

nope i only did it once, been single oh 30 some years now never had the feeling again. some of my friend's now are on their 3rd or 4th i just can't see it, i think you wait, think you find the right one and if it work's great but sometimes things just don't go that way, we've remained close friends to this day, we just did it to soon, no regrets. 2 great ki'ds and 5 grandkids thats all i need.

I think that love is sweeter the second time around when the break-up was not because of bad reasons, like the guy cheating on the girl perhaps. Cause if its like that, then its not gonna be a sweet relationship anymore...cause its hard to have trust with your partner if the situation is like that.
