Mobile internet is not fast becoming available to almost everyone. Ask yourself, what connection you are using now when connecting to the internet? Wired or Wireless? If you are using the wireless, what would you prefer, WiFI or 3G?

In the UK I prefer WiFi for speed to my desktops but prefer 3G for my laptop as it has a much better coverage and is very convenient.
The downside of 3G is that the download bandwidth is fairly low (1 to 2GB/month) but that is enough for emails so long as you can filter out the spam first on your POP3 server.

hi smacksman,
thanks for the share. how about the price of the 3G in your place, is it within the budget? or still quite expensive?

There are masses of deals so it is hard to compare but in general you can get 3G for about the same as broadband down your phone line but much less bandwidth allowed.
About £25/month on a 12 month contract is about average.

I would prefer wired in terms of speed of internet, when i am connected to wired internet i feel the internet speed is more than what it is in wireless. I use wireless in case of an emergency or when i feel lazy to put the internet cable to my laptop. I would prefer WiFi

Hi rizzu,
Yes I agree, as of this time wired connection still is far more superior when it comes to speed and stability compared to wireless.
