I was wondering how other moms have done when they analyzed where they were at 7 months after they have had their second child.
I was only wondering because i now weigh less from when i was in the army and when i was in high school. No work out routine and no diets, i chow down like no other and other thing is that im still nursing.
So i figured i just ask other mommys out there and see what they say.

Hi, my youngest is 9 months old and I weigh 2 pounds less than I did before I got pregnant. Like you, I'm still nursing and I think that helps because it uses up a lot of calories. I actually have to keep making sure I eat enough because I notice that I don't produce as much milk if I diet or cut down on calories at all. Initially I lost weight quickly after having my first child (probably due to the nursing then too), but I lost even more when I stopped nursing because I didn't have to eat as much. I'm not sure how common that is to lose more weight once you stop because I figure even though I was eating less, I was also using less calories. Either way, I definitely think the reason we can eat so much and still lose weight is because of all the calories that get used up making milk!

After my second child was six months old and I became a stay at home mom permenantly I actually gained even more weight and I really hadn't lost any after her birth. However, as I now have three children, I find that I am now losing weight well just by keeping up with them. My oldest is just 2 1/2 so I have a lot of running to do with two toddlers and an infant in the house. I now weigh less than I have in years.

I think that nursing helps you keep your weight down. I didn't nurse my children. After my second was 7 months old, I was down in my weight, but really needed to keep exercising and watching my calorie intake. It was the beginning of the summer and I remember I was bummed because I wasnt' in the shape to wear a bikini like I was after having my 1st born.

After I had my second child I wasn't really taking good careof myself, until I got tired and started solely dieting no exercising. I lost a lot of weight! Now, I'm pregnant with my third child, and I'm doing my best to take it slow in my eating habits!
