I have a nice piece of tourmaline that my boyfriend wants to put into a ring for me but I'm not sure if it can be turned into a good gemstone for a ring. Does anyone have tourmaline jewelry that is in gemstone form? Tourmaline is a stone that comes in many colors and it naturally is tube shaped which I see as difficult to make into a cut gem. It is found in Southern California USA that I know of. This is where my boyfriend found the tourmaline that he gave me.
