I've only really played one instrument, which was when I was in high school I played the trumpet from the 6th grade all the way through high school. I tried to continue it through college, but I never got into the marching band for the college I went to. Maybe I really didn't want to make it. I don't know. I think I might have been a little sick of the trumpet. It's so hard to say at times.

When I was younger I was learning to play the piano until I was in a devastating accident. I was in a camper trailer that exploded. My fingers took a long time to heal and I try to teach myself every now and then when I get some free time since I recently received a keyboard. I hope one day to be able to play decently. I had a few lessons on the violin as well, but I don't remember anything except how to take care of the bow. I think I was in 4th grade, so I don't feel that bad about it, lol.

I've heard that the violin can be a complicated instrument to play. I've never had a chance to even try. At this point, I don't know that I'd want to try since it looks like a huge time commitment.

When I was younger I played the piano. I took piano lessons for a couple of years, I think I started when I was about 9 years old. I hardly ever play anymore as I don't have a piano. My parents gave away their piano when they moved, but I might buy my own piano one day and start playing again. My grandmother plays the piano by ear, she has never taken any lessons, but she plays really well. I am also able to play by ear, but my grandmother is much better at it than I am.

I've tried to play the piano, but I don't have the coordination for it. I can't seem to play two different rhythms with my hands. The only way I can do it is if I play a chord, of some kind, with one hand, and then the other hand was moving. That' the only want I can do it.

I used to play guitar... by chords only, never learned to effectively read music. I took lessons from the daughter of my Girl Guide leader back when I was in about sixth or seventh grade :) Funny thing is, my young niece just got a guitar and, when I picked it up, I remembered almost all my chords and could strum through some songs right away LOL I was really surprised! Maybe it's like riding a bike? I really, really wanted to learn piano but my parents refused because they couldn't afford the instrument and access was required for practice purposes.

I used to play guitar and also piano. i dont really play an instrument at this time but I used to enjoy playing. I bought a guitar again about a year ago but found that I didn't have a desire to play it. I have a keyboard here for a piano but I don't play that either.

I used to play the drums in like 6th grade until 8th, but it got hard and I gave up. Also, didn't like the people in the school band. I tried again in high school, but the band teacher was a no show most of the time. Haven't thought of it til now.

I attempted to play the drums. Not in the band or anything, just when we were playing around. However, I just did not have the coordination for the drums. I was not about to play two different rhythms at all.

I can play the Piano and Keyboard as I took lessons for both of these, and I also learned how to play the Flute when I was in school as well. But personally I am not really playing anything anymore, but would Love too if I had the time to practice.

Hi CRSunrise, I know how to play certain music instruments but not skillful anyway. I had learned to play piano and keyboard before during my younger days. I had consumed lots of money to buy these instruments while took the piano courses, so that I could have more practice before to attend the next lesson. It cost me quite expensive for the piano course. There were 4 lessons in every month. The charge of the course would go higher if I had passed the grade I had learned. This to mean that I had to pay more for the lesson I took after I had passed the piano exam. Anyway it needs a lot of practice we then could play the instrument well. It’s really enjoyed to sing and to let our fingers to run freely on the black and white piano keys. Nowadays I rarely play instruments anymore and I prefer to spend most of my spare time to do mylot posting, to play computer games as well as to watch tv series Happy posting and have a nice day.

Hello There! Yes, I used to play an "Organ" intrument when I was in elementery years of my life. I stop after a year because I was getting tired of it while going to school though I love playing organ and possibly piano if I continue studying it. We still have that instrument at home and EXPECTEDLY, I do not know how to play. I forgot all th e notes and proper posture when playing or humming it through the music and instrument. I sometimes think that I should have taken advantage of the opportunity that was given to me to play an instrument when I was a teenager. Lolz... because I am more busy now. On top of that, I really admire people who knew how to play instruments especially piano and guitar!! Thank you for the discussion and happy mylotting! Have a great day! Cheers!

I played the Clarinet from 4th grade to 8th grade. I actually wanted to play the trumpet or saxophone but I didn't know how to "buzz" on the trumpet and the saxophone was a little expensive so I chose the clarinet. I wouldve done percussion but I wouldve had to learn how to play the bells. I didnt like the clarinet. But now Im not in band anymore becuase I couldnt get it on my schedule and I missed the first 2weeks of marching band practice.

I played the violin for two years (age 5 to 7) then moved to an area without orchestra and could not continue playing in school.Later on in 4th grade I took up the trombone and didnt last a year because I couldnt really get it down very well and I was dragging behind the rest of the class quite far with and the teacher asked me to either drop the class or choose another instrument and I ended up dropping the class.

I used to play the piano but I stopped in high school as well, I feel its due to a change in interests, friends or experiences. I really liked it before and I plan to continue it when I get older but I just don't think anytime soon.

My favourite instrument and the one I'm the best at playing is the electric guitar, I taught myself from age 16 onwards and I practise every day. I have been in a few bands over the years and been quite heavily involved in music most of my life. I have also done a lot of work in the music business. I play piano too and started lessons when I was eight years old. I was classically trained for years and managed to reach Grade 6. I've also had a go and playing the drums, I can play a basic beat but that's about it.
