What's a True Survivor

Many people call many themselves survivors. What does it take in your eyes before anyone can be a "survivor"? What qualities do you look for in a true survivor? Whether it be emotional, physical or environmental survivors, what qualities do you feel they all must possess?

I believe all survivors possess strength of character. They are determined and do not falter. They all have the ability to bounce back after a bad fall and to forget past misfortunes and capitalize on them to be better in the future.
