I am studying the Finnish language for almost 3 months now and i can say that it is really difficult to learn the language especially if you don't have any chance to talk with a native Finn speaker..ü But i'm curious if there is a language much difficult than Finnish which i guess is the 3rd hardest language in the world.ü

hmm.. i think it is different for each people depend on what their mother language is. for example, my mother language is Indonesian, using alphabet for the letter, so even if i am an Asian, it is harder for me to learn Japanese or Chinese than learning English. because Indonesian and English use the same alphabet. but for Chinese it is easier to learn Japanese or Korean because they use the same language's root. you said Finnish is third? so what is the first and the second one?

Well our finnish teacher told us that finnish is d 3rd m0st difficult language next to the language of iceland and norway.. But i think she's only referring on d m0st difficult language in the scandinavian region and n0t in d whole world..ü maybe it's difficult c0mpared only to languages that uses letters and not characters like chinese and korean..ü but ive read once that finnish and korean are sister languages..ü i d0n't kn0w how they became related.ü lol.ü

I accept ,yes finnish is bit difficult to learn. But my personal opinion is ,Chinese is more difficult. Most of the words in Chinese language sounds the same. And there are more scripts in chinese language.I study in an international college where there are lot of chinese friends but even then it is difficult for me to leran their language.

I have only ever tried learning one other language than English. It was Spanish and I can remember in my class during high school my teacher telling all of us that English was one of the hardest languages for others to learn.
