I hope companies are informing new users about these things - I don't remember being informed back in 1997 when I got my first access. I was all excited with my first Nigerian scam email ...
... but it got old pretty quick. Fortunately I didn't lose any money, but I heard a number of people have. Obviously it works, because the same kind of letters are still being sent out ...
I wish email programs not only have a [Spam] button for aggressive repeated advertisement campaigns but also a [SCAM] button to report such criminal activity. I suspect law enforcement personnel would be swamped if that happened though.
So - what was your first reaction to your first Nigerian scam email?

lol, that's hilarious. As if a bank is going to use MSN and Hotmail. Oh, yes, it's unofficial - yeah, right. Unofficial + bank = illegal or a scam, lol.
