Obama The Antichrist?

I don't know why people think that. The antichrist is a government, not a person. Yes, there's a ruler over that government, but as a whole, it is a form of a government that is the antichrist. Revelation gives the characteristics of the government, and the antichrist has to possess all characteristics, not just a few. the antichrist, government, has been around for years and the bible clearly points out who it is. I'm not going to give out the answer, because without a thorough explanation, many will be offended. And for some reasons long replies on mylot end up getting lost and i am unable to copy/past right now. it's a pain, for sure. but, study daniel and revelation together and then take a look at our history and it's clear to see who the antichrist is. remember, an antichrist is a 'type of christ'. meaning they will promote Christ, be religious, and may even claim to be Jesus in the flesh, but they really aren't. They're deceivers. I don't believe Obama is the Antichrist, but we don't know if he's a follower of the antichrist...but that goes for everyone. Alot of people follow the antichrist and don't even know it. but there are many people who do know it and are proud to be on the "dark side" if you will. lol. I encourage christians to study their bibles and then ask themselves, "am i following the antichrist?" But, of course, that is for christians. if you're not a christian, you have nothing to worry about. :)

According to the Christian Bible, there isn't just one antichrist. An antichrist is anyone who denies Jesus as the Son of God. In 1 John 2:18-22, it specifically states there are many antichrists and explains what an antichrist is. Therefore, President Obama is definitely not an antichrist, seeing as he believes that Jesus is the Son of God and is a Christian.

I can see why people would believe this. I am not an Obama supporter at all, but I also believe he's not and think the Antichrist could fit a lot people. I do believe there will be one. However, the devil had charm and the antichrist will be someone much more beloved than Obama.
