Staying up late, watching movies, sleeping in,we rarely go away but we do day trips ,and kids, kids and more kids. Everyone having friends sleep over, the grandkids slept over for a week, next door neighbout has been working through the holidays so we have had her daughter as well. Planning to go to Sovereign Hill in Ballarat this week. Not looking forward to school starting next week,as then it will be early to bed, early to rise, making school lunches etc.

My daughter doesn't study yet... so we do not have any school holidays... it is like everyday is a holiday for her... In the past when i was still teaching... scholl holidays mean... i can take a much needed rest... or catch up on work that needs to be done... like grading papers... computing grades... or filling out forms... but when i don't feel like doing any of those things... i would go out with my friends...

It makes sense to have vacations between semesters. During the vacation, the most important thing is to have a period of relaxation mentally. What you described above is what we experienced when young. Another way of getting relax is going out for a travel. The fresh air and nice scenery easily get us reenergized. I saw some students using the time for shor term programs, such as language courses, pychologics courses, etc. As recalled by many, part time job will give the opportunity to meet people, learn society, enhance communication, etc. in addition to extra income. It helps you financially, little might it be, but emotionally significant, as we are doing the mylotting. A last but not least meaning of your vacation is to stay with the family, as is most of the case. Your mom might be overloaded by taking care of routine, meals, washing, etc. she appreciate the last chances, and on your part, find some time to be with your parents to make you a pleasing child, as well as a good student.
