We all recieve mnay compliments in our lives; there are some we remember, and there are some that we soon forget, but there are some that are truly special and stay in our memories forever. These are those special compliments which had touched our lives at some point or the other during the course of our life. One such compliment is the one that i recieved from an old man; whom i thought was having trouble in crossing the road on a busy day. Although i was getting late for my office and was actually rushing across the road to the metro station; i looked at him and i do not know; what didi i feel, but on an instinct, i went over to him, took his frail hand in mine, and slowly guioded him across the road. Once we are safely across the other side, i asked him if he was fine now; and in return he just smiled from the depth of his heart; and said, "Son! May god always be on your side". And turned back walking slowly on the pavement. That face and those words are still very fresh in my mind. WHat about you guys? Please share your experiences...

Hello prashantatrohini18! The best compliment I have ever received is that when my husband told me the "you're the most beautiful girl I have ever seen" It's so nice to hear those words especially if someone we love will say it to us.

me too received best compliment from an old man & that thing happened in this month next day to "New years Eve" One Person, who is 53 years old asked me some amount of money. I was in a tight situation that time & dont know how to help him.. I told him that i can give only 60% amount, he asked.. he was disappointed and forced me to help me anyhow. i too got upset as i never have the habit of rejecting others requests especially in help case. i discussed with some of my friends. They told me this is not your problem., dont mind about him.. but i cannot live in that way. but surprisingly i got 10000 from one of my known person. he said me that " even i can use the money for my purpose. if i give him 30 days later, that is enough for him". I was happy that i can help that old man by giving this money(he had problem with money lenders as they keep on coming and shouting to his home) I thought so his problem is solved.I too can be happy. but unexpectedly that old man itself came to my home that time. I thought he had came again for money requesting.but he informed me that, his problems were solved by another person, who is his relation.he had helped him by giving the whole amount. I was upset when he stated like this.. anyway i was happy that he has problem no more. but before leaving my office, he stated that I am a very very great person eventhough i am lesser than age, he praised me in all the ways he can.. the workers who are near me watched this incident and they spread the news to all of our mutual contacts. everyone asked me the question, Raghul, is it true what i heard? I was shy when they asked.. i just replied them "mot like that.." The great compliment I Recieved on that day is... "His Praisings".. & not anymore.. Many other compliments are also there i recieved in olden days.. But i am much satisfied withis incident by the words of senior citizens.. It is an unforgettable incident in my Life.. Sure..

Good Buddy! It shows that how much you care about others and are also willing to take their share of problems too. Keep up this habit; but be a little careful as well, as people might even fool you. ANd always remember, that there are good people in this world as well. Happy Mylotting!

GREAT discussion! I think my best compliment was from a lady I always used to run into on my way home from school when I was around seven years old. I was shy so would just smile and she called me 'Smiler'. Years and years later, I ran into her by chance. We both stopped for a moment and she said, hesitantly, "Smiler?" We spent a few minutes catching up on the time that had passed and it turned out she knew my mum and family. She told me that she'd always looked forward to passing me because I brightened her day with a big, happy smile. Lovely!

That's a nice adjective "SMiler" my friend! You know there are some people whom we just come across and despite of the fact that we don't know them, the instinctive power of senses is such that it does find a way of expressing itself through our eyes, face and expressions. These are really special moments, because there are no strings attached; no past connections, no future aspirations, just the present moment, which expresses through our senses, and says "VOW". ALways treasure these VOW moments friend! They are some of our best memories that we cherish the most. Happy Mylotting!
