Who is your favorite character in Naruto?

I like Shikamaru.
He's one of the most fleshed-out characters in the series, and I think he's also the most "human". Naruto is like an over-the-top caricature of the class dunce and Sakura is so meh sometimes.
Shikamaru, on the other hand, is very real. I can relate to what he deals with everyday. I'm also a lazy boy-genius. (Just kidding.)

Shikamaru, definitely a very underappreciated character. He doesn't win battles because he has enormous chakra or bloodline limit. He wins battles by thinking and at such a young age already the best strategist in Konoha. I actually believe with enough information he can defeat anybody in the Naruto world. Although he won't be a Hokage (He is too lazy for that) he's make a good advisor to Naruto's hokage someday.

My favorite character is no doubt, Ero-Sennin. Jiraiya is both a master and a genius. What I like about him is his craziness over girls and that's always something to look out for as it is really funny to watch.

Yeah, Iruka-sensei is severely underrated as a character.
He worked really hard, even harder than Kakashi, and yet he wasn't fully developed by the creator of Naruto.
The first episode where he saved Naruto from the evil teacher is still one of my favorite episodes ever. That was really heartbreaking to know what Iruka's real feelings are, how he saw himself in Naruto and how he understood everything he was going through.
I think it was the same reason why I watched this anime in the first place: Because of that very first episode.

Some people may deserve the best response bro. They need it more than i do. Let's help eachother out. I'm just enjoying your discussion. Maybe that's the reason you got a star, so keep them coming. Yeah Iruka's so underrated. He even took a giant ninja star to save Naruto.

I like a lot - Yondaime, The first, Shikamaru, Neji, Sasuke, Itachi, etc. I can relate to their personalities.
To top the list, I think I like Kabuto.
