Give to childrens homes and help them get adopted out to nice caring families. Make sure while the children are waiting to be adopted they have good medical care plenty of food and clothes. Children are the future if we dont invest in them now how can they contribute to society later on. Instead of just throwing them out of the system at 18 I would help them get good housing and a job. No I was not adopted but I have worked as a substitute teacher and teachers aide and this is a subject close to my heart. Also I would give nursing homes to make sure that the people who once took care of us are taken care of now. They should have the best of care and no worries. As far as for myself I dont have many wants or needs im a simple person. I new car nothing expensive just a new cheverlot would be nice. Just knowing my family could live comfortable without money worries would be good enough for me. I would remember that money doesnt bring happiness but the people in my life do.

If only more people would use their money for good. People in the postion to make a difference. I wish for every child to have a happy childhood no matter where they spend it. My wishes are simple and not simple at all. The reality is that not enough is being done to help these children.

One Billion!! chile, that's saying plenty. Well, I would take a couple million and the things that my church want to get,a bus, build a school, build a community service center and pack it accordingly with things that needy families could get, that would be a great thing. I also want to put up at bus stops in my area, small shelters that they can protect themselves from the elements from. I think that would be a good thing. I would hate that i do it and it gets torn down. I would revamp my whole neighborhood, make it more liveable instead of a place to junk stuff and store away things you don't want elsewhere.

I would fix up my mom's home, then move into a nice home of my own. Something nice I can say is mine that is all. Then, live quietly and do some cool things. Like sponsor kids to private school or college, this one college that we have kids at, I'd pay their educations there. No lie. why not? but I'd try my best to make things better for myself and family. Help my nieces and nephews go to school. that kind of thing.

You know I had just had a thought. For all of those folks who may have a million to spare or such, they should donate it to the government to swipe the debt. Seriously. We have too much debt to China and we need to pay it off completely or get it down where it is more manageable. If we got One billion, 25 million won't hurt the US feelings. then those who don't have as much, contribute what they can to a matching fund and do it like that. Now mind you, I may be a bright eyed silly billy but to me if you truly love your country, you'll take care of it instead of letting it derail like it's doing now. It's a thought.

First I will pay $1 million to everyone in the lottery office to keep my identity secret (shoot - I just realize I had to pay the IRS officials as well AND the California Franchise Tax Board ... How much do I have left? $250,000,000? Most likely I can't deduct payoffs, I'm sure - I think I owe $225,000,000 in that scenario.)
OK, so everyone knows it is I who have that money, and I can't defraud anyone, including the federal government and the state of California. After federal and California taxes, I probably have $200,000,000 left if I'm lucky. I have to hear the whining and complaining of my family members - OK, I'll pay for college for two nephews and a niece.
No, dang it! the money's mine! I WILL invest in CD's at a paltry 2% interest - I need at least $2000 to pay rent and internet access ... - uh, and food ... make that $3000. 3000/.02 = $150,000 absolute minimum to invest. If rates go up, super, otherwise I'm screwed...
- yes, I should change my name to Uncle Screwged ...

If they knew it, i think your taxes rate will be triple or more, government still government, they are the boss, and we had to follow them. Well, still, i hope that your dreams can come true, really, not for your name, but for your true heart in helping others

I answered a post like this before but the question was posed about a million dollars. Now I don't see it ever happening, nor have I ever seen a billion dollar jackpot ever reached but if I won a billion tomorrow....
I wouldn't do jack. Personally with a billion dollars, I'd never go broke. My great grand kids would be set for life with that money. I'd do everything I wanted but never work again. Buy myself a home, and one for my mom. I would travel I would put at least half in an account so I could live off of the interest forever. I'd keep a lot in my personal vault and swim in it like Scrooge McDuck!! A billion? That's a lot of studio equipment and fun times!

Not the best just an unfortunate necessity that, without, we'd all be doomed. I guess it's nice to dream though.

If I were to win a billion dollars I would buy a big enough house to fit me and all of my friends inside of it. I would also buy my mom a brand new house with enough room in the backyard for her to ride her horses and to have stables. I would pay back where debts were due and make my wrongs right. I would definitely spread the wealth because I'm a firm believer in karma. I'm not real sure what I would spend all that money on because I've never even had like a thousand dollars in my possesion to just spend on whatever I wanted to.

The first thing I'd do is pay off the debts of myself and all my family members, purchase new homes and vehicles for each member of my family, and set them up in whatever business ventures they'd be interested in. I'd also set aside college money for my children and nieces, as well as have a nice chunk of change put up that they would recieve the day they graduated college so they wouldn't have to struggle like my family and I had to.

Ah yes, to dream! If I have 1 Billion $$. Hmm. I would put enough money in a trust for myself so I would never want for anything. Then I would begin to travel and when I found places that needed money for research or developement and it touched me I would do what I could to help. I would give money to several very basic and important things such as cancer and afew like this. I would go to some good schools and try to get some knowledge of things that have interested me for decades. I would help endangered animals and under developed countries. I would give gifts to my family and friends and try to help them each in some special way. I would make some great memories with family and friends and set aside money for a wake for after I am gone. I think that would be about it.

1 billion is a big money, esp here in my country. I would probably construct a great hospital but before that i need to proceed to med first. The hospital would be for all people esp to poor who can't afford so much, the hospital won't be free though but it would be not expensive. I also want to travel to as many countries as I can. I would invest the rest for some business probably some apartments then the rest I will keep it.

Wow that is a big money! What I'm going to do with that big amount of money are the following:
1. Invest in business (so that we are always together and we're the boss)
2. Buy house and lot (so we need not to rent anymore)
3. Buy car for my husband so we can anywhere we want
4. Buy latest Apple Computer for my husband
5. Shopping for clothes and other appliances
6. Trip to HongKong and other parts of the world
7. Get a church wedding (I and my husband did civil wedding last year)
8. Give to family and relatives to make them happy
9. Baptismal of my son and 1st Birthday on Oct. 2009
10. Donate some to charities
How I wish this could come true!
