Hi All, I was thinking about my journey to my home town. We were going by bus as it was a last moment decision to go. By Railway the jouney is so nice and pleasant but by bus it was a nightmare - we got the second last seat where we were bouncing like a ball above all we were unable to sleep. Cant eat anything because you might vomit. It was 12 hour journey but i felt it was like 20 hours. Oh my god! i promised my self that i wont take a bus for long distance traveling and if their is no option left than i will not go. Have you gone through the same experiance? A journey on which you never want to go and why ?

Hi The bus Journey was very wast some years ago. At that time we dont have more option or we can say that we have limited bus travel company. Now a days their are lot of good bus travel company with good and comfortable seats. You know in some journey if you compair with railways , bus travel is comfortable. If we compair with railways bus routs are short in distance and also confortable. I agreeed that some of the bus are still not in proper condition. So you have to select the good bus transport company for 5 to 20 hrs of journey.

hi I am compleatly agree with you. There are lot of good buses for travel and seats are more comfartable. But still buses are having some limitations and due to this more people still prefer railways rather than buses. Like my journey to home town. We don't have any railway station so we prefer buses. Still travel buses because if i move by ST buses then we don't able to walk for at least 3 to 5 hrs.

I never ever want to go on Amtrak to Florida again. I did that when I was a kid. It took twenty-four hours and the train broke down and the kitchen went haywire, so there was no food. It was the worst experience traveling in my entire life, except for when they broke my wheelchair, I mean it was completely immobile and so was I in the airport in Chicago, but that's another story for another post.
