I heard from my wife that the pope wants the Catholic religion to start saying mass in Latin.Geez I have hard time to follow what the priest is saying in French or English. In LATIN.Would only be kinda listening to People I meet in malls some times talking in diffrent languange and wounderring what there saying.Dont think this would bring more people to church me.As a matter a fact i think a lot of folowers would stop going to church all together.Huh come to think of it this would almost fall in a disaster area if this would come to be.Dont you think.

I don't think that the Pope would ever try to get all Catholic churches to have mass in Latin. It is just some of the churches. A lot of Christians don't even pay attention to what is said in church anyway. So it wouldn't make any difference to most people whether the mass is in Latin or English, because that's just how people are.

The pope just gave an approval to allow Latin mass if the people in a particular parish likes to take part in the mass in that manner. It is only for those parishes were the laity want it. He didn't tell that it is going to be the form of mass in all catholic churches.
