I know some who are very disciplined and meditate faithfully who would say yes though personally I have never really been able to do it. At least not consciously. A friend gave me something to read once that described the state and I realized I had gotten there but I wasn't trying to actually meditate at the time. I think part of the problem is the conception people have of meditation. We all prefer our lives to be more relaxed and calm and as stress free as possible. We've all held our breath or breathed deeply to calm and center ourselves during difficult moments whether from anger or nervousness and if we could maintain those feelings of calm for long periods we couldn't help but be different personally and have different life experiences. It's certainly true that how you react to things in life affects how your quality of life is.

I think that meditation can help us. It's going to affect and help us in different ways, but I think that it may help us. However, there are other ways that we use to build our confidence and such. There are some, who prefer to use these other methods over meditation.

I think that yes it does! Unless one is basicly or deeply flawed to begin with.. but then again.. it may help anyway. Although if someone is 'bent on evil' or harm.. it may just magnify it ultimately as it magnifies the good in others..Am I making any sense? Of course (to me) meditation is silencing the mind so much one can 'hear' the divine.. the deity.. (as Yogananda wrote in his writings and poetry) in which case it is definitely beneficial..

i do not try yoga and i do not meditate. im not the type of person who exercise. but other people like it and maybe they continue it because it makes them feel good and make life interesting and good to live in.

Its really a good thing to do in one's life. Yoga helps to control our emotions and
helps us to relieve from many problems both physically and mentally.
