Courtship Now and Before Compared
With the birth of modern technology such as cell phones and Internets courtship is now done an an extra modern way.
Early times-men will do
*Paninilbihan
*They do the so callde Harana or serenade
by singing a love song.
*The man courts the girl inside the house
*the man gives some money for token
to brides parents for token.
Modern Times
*Send somebody to do it for him.
*By dating the girl outside the house with a dinner and watching movies.
*The man may court the girl in or outside the house.
*Token is optional.

yeah, time is really different right now. the what so called traditional courtship is all in the past. maybe there are still some who practice traditional courtship especially in the rural areas or out of the civilization LOL
nowadays you can court a girl and tell her your feeling through alternative ways of communications e.g. mobile phone, chat, email. without even showing how much sincere you are to the one you are interested into lol
my fiancee and i met through mobile phone, she was the one who invade my consciousness 
, and she even said yes through phone also, she called me 4 in the morning.
i think whether on how you court someone, through the traditional means or the modern way, one thing still is the major factor of it all and that is sincerity and thoughtfulness.
