I'm sitting here listening to Foxnews and they are stating that Sprint is laying off 8000 people, 7000 people from HomeDepot, & now Caterpillar is going to layoff some poeple also mainly contractor. I'm sitting here like WOW, I work for a department store too and they we're on the list for layoffs but what they did so far to try to prevent the layoff was cut back on 401K plan their no longer matching, no annual raises for managers. Only thing that they didn't touch as of yet is our Health Insurance. I know its about to happen especially if its not getting better. Where do we or can we go from here. Sometimes I feel like is this the end. The struggle seems to continue especially when things aren't going to good. Am I the only one that feel like this?! So Confused

I've been telling everyone I know for months that if they have a job they better hold onto it for dear life b/c the jobs are dying off faster and faster. Before long alot more ppl are going to be turning to Public Aid to try to make ends meet. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND TRUST IN GOD**

I know that is right I say the same thing. Thats why I'm bless to have my part time job right now even though its not my dream job but it does help put food on the table and things like that.

A company that one of my brothers has been at for 10 years just laid off 9 workers, luckly my brother wasn't one of them but still it's getting harder and harder. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND TRUST IN GOD**

That is really terrible. It just keeps getting worse and worse. I was in really high hopes that things would change soon but it seems to still be getting worse daily. I'm not sure if we will ever come out of this.

I heard that on my way to the grocery this morning-a big snow storm is coming and I won't want to go out in that so I prepare. I had just turned into a parking lot to go to the dollar store, I wanted to get some cleaning stuff to keep upstairs so I wouldn't have to tote everything up and down. Well, I heard that and just went straight to the grocery and saved myself about $10 by not buying that convenience stuff. I imagine a lot of people are thinking the same, saving any money they can. It's awfully disheartening to hear things like this nearly every day. I hope you can keep your job. I just can't see an end to this horrible situation anytime soon. And I think the worst is yet to come.
