hi,
i will start off by saying i have nearly a two month old daughter, last night i downloaded the new j-diggs album :) and immediatly started listening to it while i was holding my daughter and i got to thinking. when she is this young does it matter what i listen to around her or should i start censoring it now?

I think that it is more of whether you feel it is better to start now so that you don't get into the habit of listening to bad music around her, or whether you are comfortable with starting later and knowing when to stop listening to bad music around her. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to say that J. Diggs is bad, I don't know who he is, but when I say bad music I mean bad language.

I would probably go ahead and start censoring it now to get in the habit. If you don't start now you might not get to thinking about it and when she starts learning language it could cause some interesting problems that would be hard to fix. I would just listen to that music when she's asleep or not around and pick more healthy language songs when she is up. Happy mylotting!
