My Dog doesn't want to eat dog food

Hi Geisha69, have you had the doggies since birth? Were they owned by someone else that only gave them regular food? If so, the advice given about the rice is a good one, you can even put some vegies in there, carrots and the like. What kind of doggies are they? I had a pikanese (spelling:-( that we had to rush to the doctor because he was very skinny with ribs showing...our vet said feed him only boiled chicken with a bit of rice...we did this for a full two years, then following vet's advice we started giving him Mighty dog adding a bit of rice...it worked...soon we only fed him the Mighty dog food and he was fine. Hehe, it looks like your dog is a 'class' apart. If it doesnt eat dog food one effective advice that I would like to give is that you can mix the dog food with the normal food that you can give. Like I give rice, fish, chicken pieces and mix the Pedigree food in it with a few tonics and supplements. So this is what I feed my dober man, and it is a strong, good-natured dog presenly. It named jack, what is your dog named?

If your dog won't eat, make some Minute Rice, you know the kind you make a bag, and mix in a teaspoon to a tablespoon (depending on their size in). That usually gets them to eat.

My dog doesn't eat dog food either but she's big and healthy. she eats what we eat. I give her milk and lots of fresh water. She's very particular in her water. she wants her water cleaned at all times and if its not.. she doesn't care if she is thirsty coz she really wouldn't drink it that is why had to see to it she always has fresh and cleaned water.
