Those looking for a weight loss plan to follow should check out http://www.letsdolunch.com - this is a simple plan, easy and inexpensive to follow - and I have found that it works very well.
I have no financial interest in this site or the plan - just wanted to pass along something that I have found to be effective.

Have you gotten this book? I wonder what kinds of foods that you can eat. I am guessing it is eating all the fruits and veggies that you want until you are full.

Yes, I have the book. You do eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and eat all the lean meat you want at lunch. You do avoid refined flours and sugars, bread and potatoes.
The website has a lot of information and you can order the book there and receive a free set of their recipe cards. There is also a lot of information on the message boards, and the people there are very helpful.
Roger Troy Wilson is the author of the book/plan and he frequents the message boards as well, so you can ask questions directly to him if necessary.

The plan is designed to curb hunger and cravings, and it most certainly does work. I'm just starting my 4th week and have lost 8.5 pounds.

It reminds me alot of the weight watchers core plan that they use to have. YOu could eat all the fruit, veggies, eggs and lean meats that you wanted until you were full. It worked really well!

Do you follow it completely? I have to allow myself a little leeway with the sugars or else I go crazy on them when I feel the urge to have it. I allow myself a piece of chocolate every once in a while and so far, I haven't binged on it! As far as cutting out carbs, I know I eat too many so I do try to incorporate more veggies at dinner time!

Eating on the plan helps to eliminate the cravings for the sugars and starches that sabotage weight loss.

Sorry - I know realize that I didn't answer your question. I do follow the plan completely and I don't have cravings for potatoes or for sugars/sweets.

Thank you for the great information. It seems very interesting.
I saw that you have lost a bunch already. Congratulations! I am jealous and desperate to lose weight myself. I will try just about anything to lose some weight. I am currently taking the Acai Berry pills and waiting for results.

I have found that low carb works the best for me but I might try this plan for a change of pace because you dont eat a whole lot of veggies with low carb and very little fruit. I am a fruit lover and it would be nice to have something that incorporates that. I would love to lose 8.5 pounds.

You're very welcome. It's always nice to find something that isn't just a scam to get the money of those desperate to lose weight. The author of the book/plan donates all of the proceeds from the book to charity.
