What are the first words you usually say to someone you meet :
1) Hi
2) Hello
3) how are you doing?
4) How are you?
5) Something else
Those who use the words either Hi or Hello, do you prfer saying Hello or Hi ? Why do you prefer one over the other?

I say Hi and Hello if I never met someone. I use 'how are you doing?' and How are you?' when I first talk to someone I know.

I tend to say "Hey! How are you?" with a big smile on my face. If its just seeing someone walking by and they are talking to someone else I smile and wave. It depends on the situation, but I always have a big smile ready and waiting.

When I answer my phone, I say "Hello?" When I meet someone new for the first time, I say "Hi" And when I greet a friend or someone I know, I say "Hey". I'm not sure why I do this, but those are the greetings I use!
