Where I live, they have recently come out with a new Law, that adults cannot smoke in their care if their is a child present, and if they do, they get a fine.
Do you think this is a good law?
Personally, I think it's good. Smoker or not, I don't think a child should be inhaling that second hand smoke at a young age. It's very damaging to them. Also, I think they shouldn't have had to even make a law, people should've just known not to do something like that with a child present.

My husband is trying to quit smoking, but he still is for now. he's not allowed to smoke anywhere in the house or the car because we have a one year old daughter. That is a very good law to have. My dad smoked around me and my brother when we were kids and we both developed asthma. Not every child will get it, but it's not fun if they do. It was horrible for us and I really don't want my daughter to develop it. Extremely good law!

That's good you don't let your husband smoke around your child. I don't know how a father or mother could smoke around their child. It's harmful to them, and can cause a lot of problems with childrens lung. I hope your boyfriend ends up quitting. My boyfriend is planning on "quitting" as well.

Wow, I think that is an awesome law. Kids shouldn't be exposed to those toxins. I wish they would pass something like that where I live, there are so many people that I see, just holding a child in one hand and smoking with the other. It sickens me to see that. Ugh. Anywho, great law. And Happy mylotting
