garlic powder is a good spice. I also use a lot of seasonal salt. Oh and there are so many more. You definitely need much more than just salt and pepper. especially for steak put something strong on it and it will come out mild.

I added salt and pepper. My daughter hates onions.

Try using a bit of salt and maybe a spice mix. Broil it for just a few minutes on each side. It will be yummy. Don't over cook it.

You mean after baking it? I did salt it before baking it. Thanks!

He won't tolerate worcestershire sauce. I've never tasted it. Got soy sauce! I put salt on it.

I agree with the comments. Premarinate it! I'd suggest 6-10 hours is enough for it. Goodluck. ;)

i think you should it first. the longer the better and it's okay to leave it overnight too. in the freezer that is. and i heard if you were to marinate meat, add some 7-up or sprite!

I don't have an answer to your question because I took am an amateur when it comes to meats too! You did make think of an experience I had with meat before. It didn't end very well...
I tried to bake a chuck roast. I used garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, bbq sauce, ketchup, and who knows what else. It was a disaster though! Tasted so crappy that neither of us could eat it! We threw it out! What a shame, but I learned my lesson. No more experimenting for me!!

try marinating it for a day in something of your choice. Did you season it before you baked it? I always heavily season steak because that is one meat that doesnt absorbe the seasonings to well, but when you put lots on you will get a good flavor!

I salted the heck out of it. Guess that wasn't enough. But I'm definitely gonna marinate before trying that again. Too many people have brought it up.

marinate, marinate, marinate...!! also you might want to look into searing before baking searing will help lock all the goodness into the meat.

Marinate it with your favorite liquid seasoning and leave it like that for 45 minutes before you start baking it, and combine it with vegetables, not pasta, breads, mashed potatoes. Less fat!
But you can just put it on the pan, and watch it, instead of the oven, or you can bbq it.

Do you bake the vegetables with it? I wrapped the meat in tinfoil and put it on a cookie sheet. Would that work with veggies?
