Happy Australia Day all!!! I live in England at the moment and spent an unhappy day knowing that if I was home in Brisbane i would have had the day off instead of being at work. Australia day does have a good amount of Public holidays or Bank holidays, depending where you're from. England on the other hand doesn't. England doesn't have a day off for a national day like most other countries. St. George's day is celebrated but it isn't a holiday. Australia even gets the Queens birthday as a holiday but England doesn't. I wonder what other people think along these lines. Do you live in a country where there aren't many holidays? Do you think Australia has too many, or England too few? Let me know how you feel....
