What do you think of entomophagy or insect consumption?

I am curious to hear the views people have about the consumption of insects as food.Only a few countries in the world do not consume insects intentionally and the rest of the world has a least a few insects dishes or more in their common cuisine.Even mexico has several dishes based on grasshoppers and ant eggs both and even mosquito eggs are served in some eating establishments. In a world where we are constantly needing to seek out new food sources and more ecologically friendly practices, entomophagy is a promising area of study. Have you ever eaten bugs and if so, did you enjoy or not enjoy it?If you are opposed to the consumption of insects, why are you opposed?
