England is a green and pleasant land.

On this cold, damp, dismal day I thought I would remind myself why I love to live in England. We need the rain to make our countryside so lush and green. We need the cold to kill off the germs for the Summer. If it was sunny all year we would not have anything to talk about or appreciate the lovely sunny days. The dark winter nights are getting shorter now as we are on our way to Spring. If we were not in a temperate climate we would not have such wonderful Spring and Autumn days with the first buds pushing through or leaves changing colour and falling.
Also we do not really have any nasty creepy crawlies or creatures to worry about.

very much like Scotland! the wild haggis running with ga.y abandon among the Heather. Heather moans about the haggis running with ga.y abandon up her skirt. nessie teases a japanese tourist while a ufo flies overhead.
Glasgow welcomes everyone with a glass of buckfast and a chib to the cheek.
but best of all is the 14th August, when the sun comes out for 10 minutes and the midges bugger off. we havea national holiday that day.
St Midges day.
