Would you like to see if your friends are?

How would you like to be able to see which of your friends are on line here at mylot? I wonder why they have'nt done that yet? I have a myspace and as soon as I get on I know which of my friends are there,it would really be nice if mylot did the same,how about you what do you think? Have a great night.

I personally don't like the idea. I don't like it over on MySpace or any of the other sites I go to that use that. What if I want to hide from the people there? Besides, why do they need to know I am online? Usually with those sites that use this I log on, do whatever I came to do as fast as I can and log off. So, it doesn't do anyone any good to see I am online there. As for mylot, I am always online here, even when I am not on the computer

Does that mean you like to hide?What if you could log on as hidden and still see who was here?I do that alot on myspace when I want to add stuff and not talk to anyone,I also log in as hidden on my messenger and if I feel like talking to who is there then I will show myself

That would be great. It is a very good idea. Maybe even an instant messenger so you could chat with your friends. I know there are a quite a few friends that I've made here on MyLot that I would love to chat with sometimes and get to know more about them. There really are a lot of wonderful people here on MyLot. Maybe this will become available soon here on MyLot. Great idea!

Yeah it would be nice just to see who is here,I have Yahoo messenger I talk with my daughters on it quit often,cuts down on the long distances phone bill.Thanks for your response and have a great night.

Yes, I use Yahoo Messenger too to keep in contact with my family too. It really is nice to be able to do. Really, sometimes I prefer to chat online as I do to talk on the phone. I'm not sure why that is, I guess it is just more convienient.

I think that is a really good idea and it would be good also to be able to IM then without sending and then waiting for a message.. Maybe Mylot will see this discussion and think about doing just that..

OH MY GOSH.... I swear I was just thinking this myself. I was looking at the new and recent discussions and thought I wonder who and how many are online right now... LOL
I belong to quite a few forums and they have the "members online" and who was logged in today, etc....
that would be very cool if they started to do this.
