How is this a "best dressed" look?

(Disregard my other duplicate posting.. forgot to add the picture) On anyone else, the critics would say it was shapeless, unimaginative, and unflattering. But it is Angelina Jolie, so it is beautiful and awe-inspiring. I'm not saying she looks bad - she is a gorgeous woman who can obviously pull off just about anything. But it surprises me that this gown is considered one of the best looks from the SAG awards last night. Also, why do her arms always looks so deathly thin? And they say the camera ADDS 10 pounds? I'd hate to see how thin they really are if that picture is adding 10 pounds.

ugly gown and you did not know she had a eating disorder? its reported everywhere. Her husband, is extremely scared for her he and his friends tried to help her.. but shes in denial.. cant realy help someone who doesnt want help.

I did not know she had an eating disorder. I know it's been reported in all the gossip magazines but I never believe what they say. Every day it's something different. When a real news magazine reports that she in fact does have an eating disorder then I'll believe it. I agree, the gown she chose is not flattering in my opinion. I've seen her look so much more beautiful!

You hit the nail on the head. It is Angelina Jolie. Seems like she can do no wrong. I have seen better outfits.

No problem at all. I think alot of celebrities are way too thin too. I think they think that really thin is in. I would hate to see what they look like also if the camera is already altering them.

It reminds me a lot of a toga. Maybe they like it because of the "classic" look, but I really don't see anything too original about it. I guess when you are as rich as she is, you don't have to try too hard.

I'm just as dumbfounded as you are. I mean, it's not as if she is wearing a burlap sack but it isn't anything special either. And I agree, she looks wayyy too thin.
