It should be noted that the Economic Crisis, is not completely contained within the US.
Mostly because the US Economy greatly affects the Global Economy. So no matter where you go, thing's will still be in poor shape, although maybe not /as/ bad.
In any case, I'd go to Canada. It's really nice, and seems like as good a place as any.

Hello zenki08! Well, I just followed with the flow now. I guess everywhere we go now or whatever country we want to go, there is still a global financial crisis. We can't escape it right now because the world is affected with it.

I am very contented with my situation here in the Philippines, even if my earning is not really that big, my mind is already set to spend my whole life here in my beloved country. Why?because going abroad is not the answer of everything, I think the recession and the financial crisis is even worst in another countries and having there is not a guarantee of a comfortable life. Crisis is not strange to Filipinos, so I am used to it, what I am trying to do now is to have an extra income that is why I am working hard online, hehehe.
Life in the Philippines is not that bad if we just look on the lighter side, and for me money is not everything, there are still wonderful things operated outside the world of money-peace of mind, the company of our love ones and genuine happiness-
But of course like others, I want to experience travelling in another land also, I want to visit New Zealand, Switzerland, France, Italy and Great Britain. These countries are super nice and I want to just see what's on the other side of the world but not to work or live there. Philippines, still a paradise for me, nothings compare.

Hello zenki08,
i would try to migrate to a cheaper living cost country .
Philippines sounds not bad when i look in one of my discussions about the value of 10$, but i think there could be also Thailand where my money would be more worth than in Germany.
Living there for 1 or 2 years and then going back sounds good for me at the moment.
If i really had to migrate for a new job opportunity outside of Germany, i would decide to go to Switzerland. A small country where most of the people can talk German and the jobless rate is only 3% instead of more than 7% in Germany.
Hope you don't have to change your job/country because of this crisis!
