Japanese/Asian Movies

Who watches movies from the far east? What is one of your favorite Asian Movie of all time? My favorite is Battle Royale, a Japanese movie about high school students killing one another. I kinda liked BR2, but that one was a bit ridiculous for my taste. I also enjoyed Gonin, a yakuza dorama! Beat Takeshi is da bomb! Scared the crap out of me! I liked it!

Battle Royale was my introduction to the world of Asian Films. As much as I loved the movie and the novel by Koushun Takami, Battle Royale is my 2nd favorite Asian movie. My number one favorite Asian movie is Takashi Miike's Koroshiya 1 (Ichi The Killer. Ichi was my first introduction to the world of Takashi Miike. I'm all so a big fan of (Bea)Takeshi Kitano .

I really liked Record of Lodoss War, though I guess that is technically a series... Vampire Hunter D is another favorite.

I loved Battle Royal! I also read the Battle Royal Mangas. Very interesting concept, and good conflict.
