does anyone actually make decent money off ptc sites?

people seem to get excited about being paid $1-$3 from ptc sites.
but do people actually make more than this? or anythin decent worth their time?
if not do u have any better ways other than ptc sites?
the best part about mylot for me is i live in australia and the $10 you get a month here turns into $15 australian dollars
