I have 2 credit card.. i use only one of them..... you have to remember that when you swipe it you gotta pay it after a month.. dont be too extravagant.. because when you dont pay the bill off... you gotta pay high interest which is not worth it... i use the credit card just to collect points.. usually i pay off the bill at the end of the month..

I have a pre-paid credit card through my bank here in Canada. Instead of having a limit and paying it off, I put money on the credit card account AND THEN use the card, with the money that I've put in the account. When I run out I just put more in. I like this better than borrowing someone else's money.

Credit cards can be the devil's work. It's so easy to let the amount owed get away from you. After all you see something you want all you have to do it take out your card and it's yours. And you don't even have to worry about paying for it all at once, you can do it on time. Can you beat that for a deal? All of a sudden you owe megabucks. It's so easy

It's only bad if you are not careful with it. This was just a friendly warning so
you wouldn't get in trouble.

yes i do have credit card. it's very important on my part since i am a mother of a one yr. old. i use credit card only if i don't have cash and need to buy milk. i've learned to discipline myself using credit card.because you get penalized if you don't pay on time and the interest is very high. one thing good it reminds me to work hard to pay the bills.happy myloter!

I have one credit card and do not want any others. I'd rather not use one at all, but sometimes I have no option. I used to be able to pay off the entire balance at the end of the month, but I can no longer do that. Still, I pay about 3 times the minimum because the interest on a credit card balance can devastate a person's finances. It would take forever to pay it off if I let all that interest accumulate.

I don't think that I will ever own a credit card again. I don't handle them very well. I missed payments, spent more than I had, and other irresponsible things. On a credit card where I originally had a $300 credit limit I ended up with over the limit and late charges equaling what I owed the credit card company close to $1,000. And this is just one of the three cards I had at the time.
It's too easy for me to overspend.

I too dont have a credit card for I know they charge exhorbitant rates firstly, and secondly you tend to overspend. It is better to have a debit card where money can be utilised only from your account so long as you have balance.

Well, i discourage you to have even at least one credit card because it will just give you a financial problem. When i had my first credit card i thought it was good coz i can buy things that i cant buy before because i dont have enough cash. I enjoyed usung it, until another card came and another one came...until i realize that my bills went high and i cant afford to pay the due amount anymore. Its not really advisable to use it. Unless you pay the full amount in your monthly due that will be no interest. If you can pay cash dont use credit card.

Hi becnh83,
Not a good idea to have a credit card as you can over spend and then having to pay it back with interest charges which is far too high, I used to have one but ended up having to cut it up, I just have my debit card and ISA card, that is all. Hugs.

Hi ya becnh83
I don't have a credit card either and I don't want one. I think that once you have one it easy to spend, spend, spend and end up paying them back with a lot of interest. It is an advantage that you can buy things online with it and if anyone steals your id from it you won't be held responsible for what they buy with it.
