I'm more careful now tih budgeting and really check the prices when I go to the supermarket. Also, our house has a centralized water heater but we decided not to use it to save on the electric bill

We've done a lot of things in our household (we're a family of seven) to make every dollar count:
(1) we work smarter (sometimes more hours, sometimes less hours for more hourly earnings - it depends on the jobs we do because we're both self-employed)
(2) we spend smarter (no more eating out just because we don't feel like cooking, and we buy things in bulk, on sale, or on clearance whenever possible)
(3) we unplug (everything in our house this isn't used regularly is unplugged)
(4) we are efficient (we try to run all our errands in one day during the week to cut down on gas)
(5) we pay on time (we try to pay all of our bills before they're late so we're not wasting money on late fees)
We're also trying to figure out more ways to make things more efficient around here so we're okay. Like insulating the house to keep heating costs down, and stuff like that.

Hi,
We cut on costs. Less shopping, less leisure. Save costs at home by turning off unnecessary electricity. Like when the ref is empty or just contains water, turn it off for a while.
We also find something wherein we can earn extra.
have fun
