Hello!!! I love costume jewerly (earings, bracelets, etc)and feel so happy when I buy a new... I would to know how much costs it in your country.
For example, here in Brazil, a simple earing pair costs R$5,oo in average (or $2.5 Dollar)

When I was younger, just in college or say till 25, I love costume jewellery. In fact I bought whatever fancied me, whenever be the time. now in mid 30s, I am not much into them. They are quite cheap here in India. A simple imitation earring can be had for anything like Rs. 10 which is about 1/5th of a dollar. Of course you have to buy it from the footpath shops…the trendy ones will sell the same for a much inflated price.

My mom has an online store, where she sells jewelry and she is very excellent at getting great prices, usually if I just need a piece to complete an outfit for a day, she will let me borrow a piece (Once I wanted to go to church dressed as a pirate, and thought it would be cool to have a heavy chain with like a medallion/coin, and she actually had one that I could borrow XD it was cool, the piece looked old too.) in other cases, She and I both make jewelry to wear and sell, I like working with seed beads, she likes working with bigger beads :P so prices for us can very between 2.50 for a pair of earrings, to 40.00 dollars (which one of her customers recently bought a piece for.) It really depends what quality or style you want :P

You can get costume jewelry here at places like the dollar store and pay half a dollar or a dollar, or you can get very spendy costume jewelry - art type jewelry that doesn't necessarily have an precious stones but is hand crafted wearable art that could cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars. And of course anything in between. Variety is the spice of life.
