Be a good mother? Will I be able to teach my son the skills he will need for life? Will i be able to raise him the way that i want him to be raised? How will i know when to encourage and when not to? How will i know what advice to give to him? Will my son love me?
These are things that i didn't start thinking of until after i gave birth. How do we as mothers over come these fears we have of letting our children down. I never fear that my husband will be a good father but i fear that i will be a good mother.

I must say it is something new every day
I had the same fears when I had my daughters
Now my girls are 6 and 7 and every day it is a new challenge to deal with
And somehow you learn to react and counter react
Sometimes it may not be the right move at the right moment
But guess what it will all work out
I believe that God entrusted me with my two girls and he will lead me daily in the way I am to raise them
I know I in myself can not raise them but God can through me
Ok I know I sound religious but its not like that.
I tried it alone and it did not work

I have those kinds of thoughts too and fears. But as long as you plays as a good mother to your son, provide his needs and looking after him, give him support morally and emotionally everyhings fine, Always pray to God tat you can handle all the things will come. Forget those thoughts do what is good for your baby and don't worry you will be a good mother.

No one knows if you will be a good mother or not. Only you know that. it's a good sign that you are wondering if you will be a good parent. That means that you care about being a good mommy. I'm sure that you will be a great mother. All your little baby needs is love and tenderness. You'll do great! i was worried too. I'm sure we all are at first.

No one ever knows if they are going to be a good parent before having kids (my opinion).
I didn't think about it but when I had kids it was like second nature to me. I feel like I am the best mother I know how to be. Real talk though I feel like my kids help me be the best I can be in everything I do.
