Why do we need to pray to the god?

God is the giver. He has given us birth and everything else to sustain. He takes care of us. So why we still keep on praying. We should thank him instead of praying for more.

I agree with you when you say we should thank him. I thank God everyday and I pray to him not asking so much but too help me along my journey with my life.

yes u are right and this should be the way. But i have seen some people who go on asking for more from the god.

Well I guess where it says in the King James Version 'Ask and ye shall receive' kind of takes over at that point......lol

we need to pray and worship to God because He is our Almighty God.He knows everything what we need,He is the only person whom we can ask for help...short term,He is the giver...Godbless for sharing this wonderful message:)

Not every prayer is about asking for more. Sometimes, it just plain communicating. We pray because we feel comfortable and can dispose of our negative energies and feel free.

I agree with you friend, god has given us what ever we have, i owe my life, my property every thing to him, i pray daily, try to be selfless; but always endup asking for some this
