Yep i lost my job in november 2008 i,am still out of work going mad with being home most of the time.I,am seeking a driving job as i like to meet new people see new places etc.

Ah, I know what you mean. I got a permanet layoff, which pretty much means being fired, and I still haven't found a job. This was at the beginning of December. It's really hard at the moment. Where I live the unemployment has gone to 7%. And no one will start hiring until March. But there are websites you can go on and look for a job.
