When I was younger I wouldn't leave the house without my face being made up not even to check the mailbox, but as I grew older I no longer wear it as much once a month or less. I am a stay at home person but when I worked I wore it everyday. And I would feel self conscious without it and naked as you stated. But now I have just gotten to it not being there. I don't see the point of wasting makeup just for myself.

I won't go out with makeup if I have to go far, then I would like I am naked or something. However, if it's somewhere close, and I just have to go for like 10-20 minutes, then no makeup is fine with me!

I feel much more comfortable with makeup on too! I won't leave the house without at least putting on something to even out my skintone and cover the darkness under my eyes (I'm VERY fair-skinned!)
I guess that some might think that's vain, but I say that one should do whatever makes her feel good about herself.

I dont fee naked without make up. I think I feel fresh and ok. I dont like going out with a lot of make up, but its a requirement at work, so I have to put on blush-ons, lip gloss, and eye shadows. At home, I love the look without make up, I am concern with how healthy my skin is, and not on using artificial colors to cover pale skin. Sometimes i experiment with how i look with different eye shadows. But i dont overdo it. Its nice blending colors, one thing i just dont like is when people are used looking at you with make up, and you turn out not having a make up at all, they will ask you " did you just get up from sleep? "
heheheh, Happy mylotting!

I used to be like that but now I am not. I used to not even check my mail unless I had a full face of makeup on but now I am not like that. I changed so I am not so self conscious as much.

I rarely put make up on so most of the time like 99.9% of the time I go out without make up on. I only put make up on for special occasions like going for dinner functions which is very rare and even on Sundays going to church service, I would put on pressed powder and lipstick that's it. Am not much of a make up person and one stick of lipstick can last me up to 3 to 4 years........this tells you how much make up I use....LOL !!!
