I am not a cinema person and I am stingy and not rich like I said. lolz... Since I was born I had been to Cinema not more than 5 times. I prefer to just watch on my computer which is more economic. lolz.. of course watching in the cinema is a lot more fun cause of the sound effect and big screen. Maybe somedays I would want to make a room that is like cinema in my apartment. hehe..So how often do you go to the cinema? Do you like it there? Or prefer to be at home? How much is the entrance ticket at your place?

I go 1-3 times a year. They are fun to go to and watch movies all day. But the times are not in my time frame, there arent much movies coming out this year that I want to watch. I dont think people would go to the cinema if they knew how to download online. I download my movies onto my PSP and watch them on the go. Its very convenient and new dvd quality movies come out quick and fast. I think I might go to the cinema to watch that new movie "push" it looks action packed and worth watching. It looks like that movie "jumper" which was very good and worth watching. Its like 8 dollars for entrance ticket or 1-2 dollars for the cheap cinema that has movies that are like a month old.

Hello lovesummer!
I do not go to the cinema that often. For one, it is not that practical. Yes, it is quite affordable but not practical. If I could get a DVD copy of the movie/film then I would rather watch at home. It's fun watching at the cinema especially when we go with our family and friends. However, I think it is equally fun doing it at home instead.

My wife & I don't really go to the cinema. I guess it's less than 5 times a year? In fact, we only went once last year to watch Transformers. I normally watch DVDs or download movies to watch - connect PC/ laptop to TVThat's the economical way plus you can watch them over & over again especially the movies you love

I don't go to the movies more then once a year. I wait until the movies come out on dvd or are on television. Its a fun outing but I wouldn't do it more then once a year.

My wife & I aren't the type that have the urge to go to the cinema when a new movie comes out. Like you, we normally wait for the DVD to come out too. In fact we're not really that up to date as we're watching a lot of old movies on DVD as well as on TV, haha

I have recently bought myself an unlimited cinema voucher, which works at all Cineworld cinemas around the country. It cost me £143.88 and is valid for 12 months. This means that I would only have to go to the cinema once every two weeks to make it worthwhile, and I am currently going three times every weekend and maybe once during the week as well if I have the time to go.
It's really good value also, because you get discount food and drinks on the card, which means I hardly spend anything while I am there!
It's an amazing activity that I use to pass the time, and now I can go to see every film that's out however many times I want to see it!

I don't like to watch movies in cinema halls. One reason, of course, is the economy, other main reason is the comfort and privacy, which is available at home only.

I cannot recall the last time we went to the cinema. It is less then once a year when we go. There is usually nothing that catches my attention enough to want to spend the money, the time going out, and being trapped in a room with many loud and sometimes ill people. At home, we can cuddle up on the couch, eat whatever we want, smoke if desired and so on. We have free tickets to the one in our town, so we will be going pretty soon.

It all depends upon the genre of the movie whether comedy, action, romance and i would prefer to watch action oriented and romantic flicks.
If it is an ordinary movie i would watch it in my home itself but if the movie has got lot of hype i will certainly go to theatre andd i am eagarly awiating Terminator-4.
Cost of ticket for ordinary theatre Rs 50 and for big multiplex it is Rs 120 or so.

Hello!
hmm... I also do not have a close affinity with cinemas. I consider myself extravagant enough if I go there in about 5x in a year! hahaha!
Like you, I'd rather watch in front of the TV or the PC enjoying the comfort of home. Well, sure the sound effects and the big screen are great but the cost for that is equally great as well!!! haha!!!
Sometimes, we also do it as a family outing... although it might cost quite a lot, my parents are willing to spend for the sake of family bonding time...
Well, I don't see myself to becoming a cinema person in the future either...
Hehehe... I prefer watching with JUST my loved ones... So that bursting out to laughter or in tears won't be embarrassing! HAHA!
BTW, cinemas here costs about 80-100 per ticket... ^_^
It's already expensive for a penniless person like me... hahahhaa

when i was still single,i used to watch movies in big screen once a month or it depends if there are more good movies showing.but when i got married and had kids i hardly go to cinema, the last movie i watch on big screen was war of the world, and that was years ago already.right now i am more contented watching movies on dvd,at least the whole family can watch it over and over without that extra pay :)

I haven't been to the cinema for a long long time. I prefer staying at time to watch the movies on the internet. Very easy to watch online or to download them from the Internet for free. Someone might say that cinema movies can bring about wonderful sound effect and are usually shown at the first time. But I never mind watching them at a later time. It is only a kind of entertainment for me. So time is not a must consideration.

My last cinema visit was with my husband and kids. It was fun. When me and my husband are still dating before we got married, we like the cinemas a lot, embracing, laughing, and smooching. Now, we don't have much time to do that because we don't have a nanny to look after the kids. So what we do is we make our room most comfortable so we can watch our favorite movies. Sometimes when our budget permits, we all get to watch on cinema just like time we watched Bedtime Stories by Adam Sandler. Cinema fees are getting expensive these days but they definitely are getting better too.

I seldom go to the cinema. Yes, as you say, it is not econmic to see films in cinemas. Sometimes I will see some movies in the auditorium of my college. Usually, I would rather rent some DVDs and see movie with my computer, which has a 22" wide screen LCD.
