Do you get dry skin in the winter. I think more than a few of us do. Some of us get dry patches on our face. Some deal with feet issues(me) some with dry skin on our hands (me again) What do you use to combat the problem? I use SKIN SO SOFT from Avon. It works great in and after a shower.

When winter hits its like out skin dries up bad..My husband and I both have severe dry skin in the winter months. We try to use alot of different lotions but so far we haven't found one that last. Like our skin is like a desert and sucks up all the moisture.

I never really thought about the sun or how it effects your skin until I moved here to Phoenix. It gets so hot here in the summer that I actually have sun damage to my face, which is difficult to avoid because I catch the bus. I need to find good products to stop that from happening this summer because I really think it has aged me in the last couple of years.

Hello ersmommy. I also get dry skin in cold winter, but I did not have this happen to me five years ago. I don't like it when the skin gets dry in this cold weather. I use some lotion to help make it feel better. Take care, friend.

I tend to get dry patches on my back where I let the hot water hit me in the shower. I would have my wife rub lotion on my back, but she'd assume I was trying to "bust a move" on her or something. :)

Funny thing is, I don't remember having this problem as a teenager. Now that I'm older I do get winter dry sking baaaad. My whole body is dry so I try to take the time to put baby oil on after a shower. Otherwise I use whatever lotion I have closest to me when I think of it. This is a range of frangranced lotions (like Bed Bath and Beyond type), baby lotion, Vaseline and Jergens. Might have to sneak some of my daughter's Eucerin cream. We got that for her on doctor's orders because she's got sensitive skin with these light bumps that never go away.
My hands, feet and ankles are the worst areas. I've found the Jergen's Ultimate Healing lotion is working wonders though.
