What do you thing about spiders as pets?

I like most animals. and could almost see having a tarantula if they are not poisonous. Unfortunately My husband is terrified of spiders so I doubt I will ever hae one. We plan on getting alot of litle furry things and he wants to get lizards. I want a dog and a bird.

I could definitely see myself having a spider as a pet. As long as they are not poisonous to humans, thats the key point of that. I would not want to keep something in my house that could hurt me, lol. I think it would be fun to have one just to creep out people who come over and don't like spiders. Its innocent enough fun in my opinion cause its not like its gonna get them or something. I have no problem with spiders in general unless its little big ones that I find running around my house sometimes. Those kinda creep me out and I always think to myself what if it crawled up my nose while I was sleeping or something. A big spider that I control in a cage would not have me worried.

To me they come right under snakes but I guess anything you care for can be a pet. Our spiders get a nice trip out doors where they can live and I can stay sane, I'm just not to fond of spiders.

First of all im an arachnid anonymous, i dont like spiders and i dont consider them, ever to be my pet, nor my kids, nor my hubby.
