I know Lord Voldemort is played by Ralph Fienes in the movies about Harry, but somehow did not have him in mind for that role.
So let's say, for argument sake, that he would not have been an option. Who would you've wanted to see play the role of the Dark Lord?
( by the way: WHO is that extremely attractive guy that plays Tom Riddle in Chamber of Secrets? HUBBAHHUBBAHUBBA! ;-) )

i think ralph fiennes was perfect for the role. coz remember voldemort is supposed to be handsome, on the dark side anyway. i remember when i saw him in the red dragon even having him w/ a hairlip, he still looked gorgeous! but not clean cut -boy next door- gorgeous
jeremy irons is also a good choice! but sometimes he looks kind. hehehe.

Hi makeup,
Good arguments. I guess I've never been that fond of Ralph. He's a good actor.
Jeremy Irons, although not extremely pretty, can be sooo charming and indeed kind. But he won me over by being Uncle Scar in Lion King.
Pure evil, but BOY, does he have the most sexy voice in the entire world!!!

Tom Riddle was played by Christian Coulson who hasn't done much else in the way of movies. A few guest spots on some British television series.

As for Ralph Fiennes... I actually just started reading the books a few months ago but as I have been reading I have thought about the actors playing the characters I am reading about and he's not one of the ones I questioned. I have thought that, if I had been doing the casting, based solely on the book, Alan Rickman would not have been my choice for Snape (even though he plays the role almost better than it was written).
