Vitamin -C also known as ascorbic acid. A big step for the immune system.Ever wonder how some people just seem to know about the right vitamins to take and how much.Well, I was feeling pretty run down one time when my children were little and I was telling a good friend at church. She told me take a vitamin c tablet and a b-1 and you will feel so much better. Now that I study vitamins a lot, I understand why.The vitamin c helps to prtect your immune system and the b-1 gives you energy. What great advice, and it worked too, so when I would have a rough day I would just take those 2 vitamins and feel like my old self again real soon. When you have children, and they are little, you need lots of energy. Vitamin-c is an antioxidant that is required for tissue and growth repair, adrenal gland function, and healthy gums.It protects against pollution.,prevents cancer, protects against infection, and enhances immunity. It also may reduce cholestrol levelsand high blood pressure and prevent atherosclerosis.
Vitamin-c is needed in the formation of collagen. It protects against blood clotting and bruising and it promotes the healing of wounds and the production of the antistress hormones. It's needed for the metabolism of folic acid, tyrosine, and phenylalinine. It is found in:green vegetables, berries, and citrus fruits. It is in asparagus, avacados,,beet greens, broccoli,,brussels sprouts, canteloupe, collards, currants, grapefruit, kale, lemons, mangoes, mustard greens, onions, oranges, papayas, parsley, green peas, swet peppers, persimmons, pineapple, radishes, rose hips, spinach, strawberries, swiss chard, tomatoes, turnip greens, and water cress.

Yep, but the big thing about b 12 if you study vitamins is that you will learn that you have to have other b's in order to absorb this. Many vitamins work like this.

B-6 is also good for energy.
I am trying to prevent cervical cancer and I am on a vitamin regiment to do just that.
I take a "virastop" in the morning and evening (on an empty tummy)
I take a vitamin c, b-6, b12, and green tea in the morning. then I take a vitamin c and green tea in the afternoon and evening.
