What do you feel whenever butterflies plays around you?

Last November 2008, my family took a vacation back to our home country. We went to a mountain resort for relaxation and appreciation of nature. From there, we found a large butterfly garden and went inside to take a closer look. There we saw a lot of butterflies, hundreds of them with different colors, yellow, black, white, orange, brown and multi-colored ones, came in different sizes and of different types. It's amazing.
While we were roaming around the Garden I saw these two small white butterflies came flying around me. They are swirling up and down catching up with each other as they come around and round. I felt really wonderful that time as if I am a flower and they want to play with me.

I know that many people see butterflies as beautiful creatures. I also think that they have beautiful designs on their wings, and the colourful patterns are truly a display of natures beauty. Unfortunately however I would be extremely uncomfortable in a butterfly garden as I have a very bad phobia of insects of any sort, and that includes butterflies, despite their aesthic beauty

Oh! sorry to hear that. Why, any bad experience with insects in the past? Still I'm glad that you appreciate the beauty butterflies possess in them. So you just prefer looking them at pictures and not playing with them up close and personal. Hope you can overcome that fear though.

Yes the picture is gorgeous. I have a fear of insects since I was very young. I cannot explain why to be honest. I know that it is an irrational fear, yet I have never been able to overcome it. I feel quite uncomfortable even looking at pictures too unfortunately! Thanks for commenting back though!

Sounds very beautiful. We have a butterfly sanctuary here. We visit it 3-4 times a year. It is a peaceful place. We walk around and see how the butterflies live. There are benches. And you can just sit and watch all the different varieties of butterflies. We learn something new each time we go. Wearing brighter colors they land on you and you get to see them up close. It is an awesome experience.

I love butterflies.. And it would be so wonderful to have them all around you. I often see butterflies at home, and it makes me feel good if I see them. Even at larva stage, the caterpillars, you can find them beautiful, that is if you study them carefully while chewing on some leaves..(yuck!);-)

Those delicate, multi-colored, beautiful creatures! I remember when I was a kid how we run after them for our art project. Sorry folks, my "conserve-nature consciousness" was not open those days. It's a lot of fun.
However, there was this instance when I was busy with my mother removing weeds from our vegetable garden that two butterflies with dominant blue color (they also have black and white streaks in them) played near me. I was mesmerized for a time watching them glide from one plant to another. My mom said we should not harm them because they bring good things. Maybe she's right because we always have good harvest from that garden.

I just absolutely love Butterflies. I think they are just the most prettiest little insects I've ever seen.
I went to the zoo where I live and one year they had a Butterfly display in a building. They had to keep it in one of the buildings because some were rare. You walked in and there were the most gorgeous colorful, playful Butterflies I ever saw. They were everywhere, some big, some small, and so many landed on me, and they weren't even afraid. So much fun, I was talking to them, lol! It just made me feel like I was in another world. A very wonderful experience and I hope I can do it again.

Are you by any chance talking about the butterfly farm at monicayo? Just wondering. Butterflies are good omens, so old people say, especially bright colored ones. So when butterflies are around me, I let them play and fly around me. Happy blogging and cheers.
