All of us have different things that we can be prod of. Like for example, having a complete family that is always there for you no matter what will happened or a friend that you can be trusted. Those were some of the examples of the people that we can be proud of.
Well for me, what I really treasure is having finished my studies. For me that is one of the best accomplishment I've ever had. Because that is the only way I can change the way of our living. I will not be ashamed of telling you guys that I came from a poor family and the only reason I finished my studies is just because of my parents hardwork.
I really thank God that he gave me such parents that is always willing to be there for me.
How about you? what are the things that you have and you can be proud of?

I have checked your profile and i found that you are a filipino like me. It is good to hear that you have finished your studies and of course passed in the board exam, as what your posts said in your other discussion. That is one achievement for you. And you should be proud of it.Just like you, I passed the licensure board examination for teacher last year. But i do not want to teach since i was still studying. But I still consider it as an achievement to me. Another thing that I am proud of is earning 9 thousand pesos over the internet just for three months. I never thought that I can earn that much. I am also proud of job. So far, I am now a regular employee of our company. Those are the things that I am proud of. happy mylotting!!!

Congrats!!! Yes education is something we must be proud of as according to some this is the wealth that no one can takes away from us. I finished my studies as well by beibg a working student. I am an accounting major but preferred to be in sales as I realized in sales there's unlimited income, nore incentives and more challenges. If not for our education we may not be in myLot today. We maybe aloof in meeting other people or we may never know how to communicate with others.
Another thing that I can be proud of is raising my 3 children, sending them to schools thru my hardwork being a single parent. Now they'd grown up, finished their studies and have quite stable jobs. Being widowed 17 years ago, I can say, my children are the one I can be proud of.

I am in the same situation like you. I am really proud of myself and having a loving family very supportive and always on my sides help me and motivate me. I am going to graduate next year 2010 july as a physician. I will be the second child graduated from university in my family none of them attended university unless me and my brother. Is really something we are proud of. Also I work hard is because I want to make a change in my life and my parents. I want to give them a good life. They had been working real hard. another reason was because we had been always been looked down by the people around us. which really motivated me in my studies.
Congratulations to you.
Hope everything goes fine now on and be glad for what you can have.

Being proud of your parents and doing well at your studies are to be congratulated. You deserve to be proud of those.
I am proud of my children and my husband for helping me to raise them to be so wonderful. They have done well at their studies and are now at university. I suppose I am proud of my part in it too but do not really think of it that way around.

I am proud of the fact that I have a lovely wife and two lovely daughters. We are a close knit family. My elder daughter is married and my son-in-law too is a wonderful guy. My daughters pull on very well together and are teh thickest of friends.

im proud really of my parents. they may not be that rich but still try hard to make my sister and me finish schooling and even graduated in a university..
i cant forget the time when my mother would lend money from our neighbors just to send to me for my tuitions fees.. luckily, i graduated on time and passed the board exam in one take..
i know they are proud of us also because we graduated in the courses they want us to take but we love our professions as well anyway.
im proud also of my boyfriend even because he undergone a motor accident last august and not fully recovered yet, he is still so strong and not give up and try hard to make our relationship work out.

I must say that I am proud of my immediate family and myself of course. Both my husband and me have learn to cut our coats according to the cloth we have and this has stood us in very good terms in these times of recession. Our wants are very few and inspite of both of us earning and seeing so many people splurging, we have been able to control our instincts. It has taken a lot of patience and we are trying to instil the values of simple living, good food, quality education, polite manners and humanity in our child. While most of the world around us is full of people living artificial lives, we try to stick to the basics. Its not easy, but so far we have managed and I am proud of it.

At the moment I'm most proud of two things. One is finally starting to take my writing seriously as a profession. The other is helping a fellow disabled person who I don't even know he is the internet friend of another friend of mine get his life together so he can move from Tennessee where he lives with his parents now to Massachusetts where he can live independently with my friend.

well i think that most of our people in our country the philippines really wanted to have a good future. but many are not eager to finish up college because of inability to afford good education. and you are lucky to be able to finish it and also your parents are lucky enough to have a very good child who know what their priorities in life are. well i wish to say that education will be the best thing that i have ever had. but i was not able to finish college.
anyways, it is really hard not to have a good job. hopefully you will be able to have or land on very good jobs in the future. and i know that you really deserve it.

I can be really, really proud of my mother. She was a very poor person that couldn´t study and worked hard when she was young and gave me the best education I could have. Sometimes she says I studied so much that got crazy... hehehe. I am also proud of the way she created me. I think I have a good heart because of her. Always helping others in front of me. I am also proud of my studies. Although I didn´t study everything I wanted to the way I wanted, I have very good studies.

What can I be proud of...
Mmm...
I can say that I'm proud that I've served in church ever since I was nine. I serve as a choir girl in our church, and I think that it's rare for someone to endure spending weekend after weekend after weekend in church. It's like the beauty in life I don't get to see everyday... how simply being there makes the biggest difference in my life. It rocks.

I have a family that loves me and cares about me and I am proud of it. I'm proud that we all get along nicely and my brother and sisters are also very proud of each other. ok now i just sound like I have a perfect family. Well I don't. We are def. no where near perfect. Brothers and sisters fight sometimes but we are still proud of each other and love each other no matter what. k so thats something to be proud about!
