This discussion might sound boring to you.I just want to make a discussion about this topic since recession is already not only observed not only here in our country but as well as in other countries, right? As I watched the T.V. last night, many lose their job. So we should act on this or else we are going to suffer. And if you have kids, your kids might suffer as well. Here in our country, this concern can be address to the government but there is no actions from them. So, as a citizen and for our own betterment, we should act on this. As of this moment, what I can share to you is some tips on how you can survive from recession and poverty.1. Maintain Your Status In Your Job. If you are working offline, you have to maintain your job. Avoid or do not do things that will affect your job or will lead you to termination. On the other hand, if you are not working offline, just here online, make sure to join legitimate and trusted site like mylot, if not, you are just wasting your time and the electricity.2. Buy ONLY the Basic NeedsLet us focus first on our basic needs. Let us not be materialistic. Make use of our money for those goods that is really needed in our house.Let us not be affected by those new gadgets in different stores, we can buy them someday.3. Save If PossibleI know it is really hard to budget a money especially if it is just a little amount. But still if you got some excess, save it, for future uses and for emergencies.4.Save ElectricityPaying our electric bill affects our budget, especially if we are paying a big amount. So if we you are not using the light, turn it off.5.Do Some Multi - TaskWhat I mean here is if you are working online, join as many as legitimate sites as you can.It will help you on your budget.
I am actually not asking you to follow these techniques. I just want to share this to you. These are the things that I am doing right now, that is why I am still kicking. I hope this topic will be helpful to you. have a nice day ahead and happy mylotting!!

I have really been working toward saving on my electric bill the past month and can't wait to see if the steps I am taking has helped, even a little. I am unplugging appliances when they are not being used and I have been turing the heat down just a little at night. After all we are all under the blankets at night and should stay plenty warm. I also bought a cover for my hot water heater and plan on getting rubber gaskets to place between my electrical outlet covers and the outlet itself. I read in a book that much of our heat and air escapes through the outlets. We are going to buy a new front door and screen door when our tax money comes in and hope this will help to keep heat from escaping and cold air from coming in the front door. I would like to add insulation to the attic as well but that could be quite costly. It would be great if we could do just a little at a time.

Hey, I know what you mean about the recession. Unfortunantly my hubby is laid off, and this the job I do, so i know how tough it is. But One thing we did was we made sure that we had enough money saved for our mortage for 6 months, and also the car payments. And everything else was secondary. We cut back on toy shopping, and are strechting the kids clothes and our own. We planned out what groecieries we need on a weekly basis, and stick to the list. also we eat out less too. All home cooked meals, and that savesa ton of money. also entertainment like movies....are down to a minium. Just for when we need a nice day out. But there are a lot of free activites to enjoy.....like taking the kids to the play ground, or a nice walk. Since itas cold here we take the kids to the mall playground. The library is also a nice place to enjoy family activites. Thats what we did, hopes it helps someone.
