Do you allocate 30 minutes to do the jogging in order to stay fit?

I am sure everyone is busy every workday from 9 am to 5 pm. Some get home very tired and go straight to bed. When you wake up you only have 15 minutes left to get ready to go to work again. Can you allocate 30 minutes for jogging in the morning or in the afternoon for the sake of your health? Let's discuss it here. Thank you.

You are right yanzalong. My son is exactly the type of person what you have mentioned here. He even has to stay longer time in his office and could leave for home only after an hour later or more than that. He feels exhausted after having shower and dinner as well. Yeah, he could hardly eke out 30 minutes to go for jogging before going to work in the morning. He tells me he and his colleague would take 30 minute or so to play badminton at the badminton court in the working compound before having their lunch to keep their body healthy and fit. They have their own locker in their office so they could have their shower conveniently after exercise. I don’t have such problem as I spend only 3 hours of the weekdays to do my part time work in the office. Besides doing the household chores and gardening work, I still could allocate 40 minutes or so to have my regular evening jogging at the nearby neighborhood. Happy posting and have a nice day.

It's nice to hear that you still have time to work out in the evening. I used to do like your son does. I never missed a day without jogging or biking. I am now getting a litte fat but I am sure I will be able to return to the healthy way of living. Thank for responding.

You are most welcome yanzalong. Yeah, for the sake of health I always try my best to squeeze out at least half an hour to do the regular physical exercise in the evening. Before this my cholesterol was rather high for I disliked to do exercise but too indulgent in watching tv series and surfing net. I was told that lacking of exercise would cause the rising of cholesterol. After keep on doing exercise for quite some time, the cholesterol was then going down gradually. Since then I insist to do exercise daily. I believe your body would become fit and slim soon, if you keep on jogging or biking daily. I hope my son would follow your step to continue to do exercise daily. He is rather fat especially his belly part. Hopefully everyone here is fit and healthy. Take care and good luck

Well. I am indeed very busy every workday. It takes me 40 minutes to go to work. Most of the time, there will be some traffic jam. When I get off work, I cook and eat. After that, it will be 8PM. So I do not think I can allocate 30 minutes to do jogging. I can only do as much as exercises on saturday and sunday. For example, hiking, jogging or simply walking.

Pardon me to correct this. The rest period should not be more than 2 days. If you work out on weekends, that's what we call "weekend warrior". In terms of health benefit, you will not get as much if you work out 3 or 4 times a week. YOu've done the best, though.

I did this last summer where I got up early with my kids, got them breakfast and did my workout, and then went on with my day... got it done before the day started so I didnt have the excuse that I dont have time or cant get to it today... and then the holidays came and my time got messed up with the school schedule for my son... and I have been bad about not fitting it back in. so tomorrow, hubby and I have decided to get back into the routine again... our alarm will go off early... I hope I dont hit the snooze!! LMAO... happy mylotting.

what I do is I walk like an hour and thiry minutes a day.. It's not a dedicated Hour and a half, but I try to walk as fast as I can if I get the chance to, I use a pedometer and my target is to have 10,000 steps a day. I also alight a mile or two away from my house so that I can walk the difference..

That's great. Do you use a heartrate monitor to check your pulse while walking? It's said that heartbeat should be about 120 bpm and maintain it for half an hour. In so doing, you will burn more fat.
